The title as well as the chronological structure of the composition derive their inspiration from certain literal themes. The wide range of sonic substance itself consists of modified original recordings of speaking voice effects, singing voice, everyday household noises, and a few instrumental recordings. The amount of purely electronics-generated sounds is small. Many pauses are included, taking into account the specific acoustic and spatial possibilities of the Cube.
